13TH STREET LOFT - GREENWICH VILLAGE, NEW YORK
This Greenwich Village loft occupies a full-floor of a former Macy’s warehouse. The redesign maintains the impressive scale of the space while also creating amenities and entertainment space for a young family of four. In the living room, the original 13-foot tall ceilings and Corinthian columns set the stage for an airy and open apartment with light flooding in from oversized casement windows. Variations in floor and ceiling heights, along with a modified floor plan, help organize the open interior into a convenient layout that separates bedroom and living spaces, and maximizes the available natural light. Detailed finishes and custom cabinetry include a 16-foot long kitchen island and freestanding wet bar, optimizing the apartment for both entertainment and family life.
