JOE COFFEE - UPPER WEST SIDE, NEW YORK
The beloved Joe Coffee brand now has a Shadow Architect-designed outpost at the intersection of Amsterdam Avenue and Broadway on New York City's Upper West Side. Working with a new look book developed specifically for the brand, the design team took a former flower shop back to its shell before installing all new plumbing, HVAC, finishes and coffee equipment, including Joe’s first kegged-cold brew coffee. The result is an incredibly functional mix of oak wood, blackened metal, stone and brightly colored tile that has already become a neighborhood favorite.
